v2rayNG is the Android build of v2rayN, by the same author. Once installed it's essentially three steps: add a node, select it, tap connect.

Three ways to add nodes

  • Scan a QR code: top-right “+” → “Scan QR code”, aim at the share code.
  • Import from clipboard: copy a vless:// or vmess:// link, then “+” → “Import from clipboard”.
  • Subscription: side menu → “Subscription group settings” → add the URL → pull down on the main screen to “Update subscription”.

Connect

Tap a node to select it, then tap the round button at the bottom-right. The first time, Android asks for a VPN permission — tap Allow. Every proxy app on Android routes traffic through this VPN interface. A key icon in the status bar means you're connected.

Test latency

Use the “real-time” menu or long-press a node to test latency. For the whole list: top-right three-dot menu → “Test all real-connection latency”.

Connected but pages won't load? Usually the node itself is dead, or routing decided the target domain should go direct. Temporarily switch domain strategy and routing mode to “Global” in settings to rule out routing.
